Is Baremetrics legit? Company, terms and customer claims

Is Baremetrics legit: who runs it

Yes, on its own published documents: Baremetrics Inc. operates the service under public Terms that name the company, give a copyright agent address in San Francisco and set Alabama law, arbitration in Shelby County and a class-action waiver. Baremetrics says 850+ customers use it and calls itself a Stripe Verified Partner. Its pages give no founding date and state no change of owner.

Paid use starts at Launch, the lowest of three cards on the pricing page, for up to $360K ARR. As read on October 23, 2026, it is $49 a month with the yearly-billing switch on (the view it opens on) and $75 a month with it off. The Terms say paid accounts are charged monthly. What is Baremetrics explains the product and the Baremetrics review covers every plan.

Is Baremetrics safe to connect to your billing data?

Baremetrics reads the billing system you connect. Its Metrics page names native integrations with Stripe, Shopify Partners, Braintree, Recurly, App Store Connect, Google Play and Chargebee, and each plan caps the number of integrations: one on Launch, two on Growth, unlimited on Scale.

The Stripe Verified Partner label and the claim that nearly half its customers run on Stripe are Baremetrics' own statements on its Stripe comparison page. Cancellation Insights, its cancellation add-on, needs the Baremetrics Stripe app and its permissions for retention offers. Its privacy policy is dated August 14, 2018.

Customer claims and what they rest on

Searches such as "is Baremetrics a scam" meet two customer counts, both Baremetrics' own figures: "900+ companies" on its home page and "850+ customers" on its About page. The question is answered by what the company publishes: who contracts with you, what the Terms promise and how you leave.

Refund and cancellation terms to know first

Payments are non-refundable under the Terms: no refunds or credits for partial months, upgrade or downgrade refunds, or months left unused on an open account. Baremetrics says it warns you 30 days before any price change.

The Terms also say cancellation requests must be made by phone or video call and that email or chat requests do not count, while the Help Center tells you to switch products off in your Billing settings. A cancellation takes effect immediately and ends charges, per the Terms. Keep written confirmation of whichever route you use. This summarizes published terms and is not legal or financial advice.
