Baremetrics free trial: what the 14 days cover

Baremetrics offers a 14-day free trial of its subscription analytics. Its sign-up page is headed "Start your 14 day free trial" and offers Google or Apple sign-in, or a company email address with a name, company name and password. The Metrics page adds "14 Days Free. No Credit Card Required." The sign-up page does not repeat the no-card line.

No Baremetrics page says what happens when day 14 ends. The Terms say a service can come free for a trial period and that use after that period requires a purchase, but they do not describe day 15.

Is there a Baremetrics free plan or freemium tier?

No plan card on the pricing page is free, so there is no freemium tier to pick there. Launch, the lowest of its three cards, covers the band printed as "$0-360K ARR". As read on October 23, 2026, it is $49 a month with the page's yearly-billing switch on (the view it opens on) and $75 a month with the switch off.

Baremetrics' Build-your-own page and two of its comparison pages say "Free up to $180K ARR". That is Baremetrics' statement on those pages, so we do not count a free plan as a choice you can see on the pricing page. The home page's main button is labeled "Free Metrics" and opens the same sign-up page as the trial. Baremetrics pricing lists every plan.

The Recover trial and the Payment Recovery guarantee

Recover, Baremetrics' add-on for failed card payments, has its own trial: "Your first 14 days of Recover are on us!" The trial starts from a start-free-trial button inside the Recover section of the app. The pricing page lists the add-on at +$129 a month on top of a plan. Baremetrics Recover covers what it sends.

The guarantee covers the flat price only. Baremetrics words it as "Recover more than your Baremetrics cost or your next month is free," and its Recover page limits it to the flat-priced add-on. No page says whether "your Baremetrics cost" means the add-on, the plan or both.

Refunds after the trial, and free options elsewhere

The Terms say payments are non-refundable, with no credit for partial months. They also require cancellation by phone or video call, while the Help Center says to switch products off in Billing settings, so keep written confirmation of the route you use.

Two rivals publish a free way in. ChartMogul has a Free plan for up to $10K MRR and a 14-day trial with no credit card. Paddle calls ProfitWell Metrics "completely free".
